Go Red Campaign (2009)
National Wear Red Day is Friday, February 6, 2009. The purpose of the day is to draw attention to Heart Health Month, which is February, and to encourage state employees to take the lead in preventing heart disease. This observance provides an opportunity for everyone to unite in this life-saving awareness movement by showing off a favorite red dress, shirt, or tie, or pin. This year, Washington Wellness is encouraging organizations to take this opportunity to promote HRA completion and encourage employees to follow up on their results with a health care provider.
