Fitness Club Discount Program
NOTE: Because rates are good through the end of the year only, any club listed in 2008 will need to fill out the online application to be listed in 2009. We are currently contacting all the clubs listed in 2008 to make sure they are aware of the need to reapply and to get them listed again as soon as possible. You are also welcome to contact a fitness facility and to point them to the online application.

Find a Fitness Club
Want to find a fitness club located near your work site or near your residence?
The following fitness clubs have provided their facility information and rates, in many cases offering discounts, to all Washington State governement (including higher education) employees, employee family members, retirees, and retiree family members. The rates provided are good through December 31, 2009. The joining and monthly fees listed here are for a single adult with any discount provided. Click on the club name to get additional information, including hours and amenities.
Recommendations
- Consider what you need in a facility aside from price, such as convenience, atmosphere, and amenities.
- Contact the facility to verify its fee structure and discounts offered, and consider visiting in person.
- According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, “Doing activity that requires moderate effort is safe for most people. But if you have a chronic health condition such as heart disease, arthritis, diabetes, or other symptoms be sure to talk with your doctor about the types and amounts of physical activity that are right for you.”
