2008 L&I Wellness Fair
The Department of Labor and Industries Wellness office is pleased to announce the upcoming 2008 Wellness Fair! All state employees are invited to attend.
As part of an ongoing wellness effort at L&I, the fair will feature:
- Over 25 exhibitors, offering a wealth of information to help keep state employees healthy now and in the future;
- Exciting presentations on cooking, exercise, dance, nutrition, emotional and mental wellness, environmental health, men’s grooming, and more;
- Opportunities to receive chair massages, flu shots, bone density screenings, cholesterol screenings, and many other valuable services.
Over 1000 people attended the wellness fair last year, and planners expect another fantastic turnout this year. Because this year’s fair will be held on Tuesday, November 4th - the date of the 2008 election - the fair will have an overall theme of voting and American patriotism. The Wellness office wants state employees to exercise their right to vote and their bodies!
